(NEWS KO) Ito ang galit na pahayag ni Sen. Jinggoy Estrada matapos mapanood ang viral na video kung saan sinayaw-sayawan ng Pinoy drag queen na si Pura Luka Vega ang remix version ng “Ama Namin.”
Napamura pa nga si Estrada sa paggamit ni Vega ng “Ama Namin” sa kanyang performance sa isang bar habang nakasuot at nakaayos na tila si Hesus.
“T@#in*nila, magdusa sila sa impiyerno,” reaksiyon ni Estrada.
“The “Ama Namin” hymn is not appropriate for that occasion. I’m not talking to about their gender. I am deeply concerned with actions,” dagdag pa niya.
Maging si Senadora Risa Hontiveros, kilalang kaalyado ng LGBTQAI+ community ay nalulungkot dahil nagamit ang naturang kanta sa isang performance sa bar.
“As a woman of faith, I admit I personally find this regrettable. Alam ko madami ding miyembro ng LGBTQIA+ community, persons of faith among them, find this regrettable. However, I also caution against the use of this incident to deny rights and protections to a community that has long been marginalized and excluded,” ani Hontiveros.
“I wish for self-reflection, compassion and healing for both the religious and LGBTQIA+ communities. Our platforms should build bridges,” dagdag niya.
