Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada underscores the need for sophisticated technologies and competent manpower and experts at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) to save it from becoming a national disgrace. Estrada, who filed Senate Resolution No. 392 urging the appropriate Senate committee to conduct an inquiry into the January 1 power outage at the NAIA that resulted in the cancellation of hundreds of flights, said remedial legislation and urgent action from authorities would ensure uninterrupted and secured airport operations. “I join the committee in identifying the actual problems and to come up with the needed solutions by crafting meaningful measures to urgently address this,” Estrada said, Thursday, January 12, 2023.
