Senator Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada quizzes acting Bureau of Customs (BOC) Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz on the status of cases filed against 294 importers and 76 brokers during Tuesday’s continuing hearing of the Blue Ribbon Committee, August 30, 2022. Estrada was given assurance that case build-up is ongoing to ensure not only the prosecution but the conviction of alleged smugglers of agricultural products.
