Support for Filipino citizenship of Boatwright and Ramos: Senator Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada co-sponsors HB 6639 and HB 6644, which seek to grant Filipino citizenship to Bennie Francois Boatwright III and Matthew James Ramos, respectively.
Estrada said the measures recognize the athletes’ talent, dedication, and desire to bring honor to the country by giving them the opportunity to become part of the national teams and represent the Philippines in international sports competitions.
