(POLITIKO) Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada has offered sympathies over the passing of award-winning actress Delia Razon.
Razon, who appeared in dozens of films and television shows since the 1940s, passed away on March 15 at the age of 94. Her death was announced on social media by her granddaughter Carla Abellla, who described Delia as “the strongest, bravest, fiercest and most beautiful.”
In a Facebook post, Estrada extended his condolences to the family of Razon, as he paid tribute to the legendary actress.
“Taos-pusong pakikiramay sa naiwang pamilya, kaibigan at mga mahal sa buhay ng batikang aktres na si Delia Razon,” he said.
“Paalam, Ms. Delia Razon. Salamat sa iyong iniwang pamana sa industriya ng pelikula at telebisyon. 🕊️,” he added.
Born Lucy May Grytz, Razon was a silver screen queen, known for her timeless beauty and powerful performances.
