Isang kaibigan: Jinggoy Estrada refuses to comment on Marcos-Sara Duterte feud

(POLITIKO) Senate President Pro Tempore Jinggoy Estrada is praying that the country’s top two leaders would end their political squabbling.

Estrada said the country would only suffer if there is political instability following Vice President Sara Duterte’s tirades and kill remarks against President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos, and Speaker Martin Romualdez.

Ang naapektuhan dito yung taong bayan,” Estrada said in an interview with DWIZ on Saturday (Nov. 23).

Estrada is prodding the President’s sister and the Vice President’s friend, Senator Imee Marcos, to intervene after Duterte accused the First Lady and Romualdez of corruption and the President of incompetence.

“Well, she can play a major factor. Pwede siyang mag-negotiate between the two camps.

Estrada said Duterte threatened to have the Marcoses and Romualdez assassinated out of anger probably due to the House of Representatives’ investigation on her confidential funds use and the continued detention for contempt of her chief of staff, Atty. Zuleika Lopez.

“Hindi natin alam. Baka she said it dahil siguro nasobrahan na siya.
