Sen. Jinggoy Ejercito Estrada urged Filipinos to speak out and report irregularities in the rollout of the government’s social programs. During the plenary session Tuesday, February 27, 2024, Estrada joined calls to investigate reports about San Juan City local government officials who take advantage of the Department of Labor and Employment’s (DOLE) Tulong Panghanap-buhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) Program, the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD’s) Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) Program and other assistance programs for their benefit.
