(INQUIRER) MANILA, Philippines — Senator Jinggoy Estrada said on Thursday that he is “hopeful” and nervous at the same time about the outcome of his pending plunder case before the Sandiganbayan anti-graft court.
The promulgation of Estrada’s case is set on Friday, January 19.
“I hope it will be favorable. I’m keeping my fingers crossed,” Estrada said in a briefing with reporters.
“Hopefully tomorrow, I hope to get a favorable decision,” he added.
Estrada also described the case as a “sword of Damocles,” an idiom that connotes uncertainty, which affected him and his family.
