Establishment of Manpower Data and Placement Center

The proposed National Manpower Data and Placement Center seeks to complement the existing Public Employment Service Office (PESO) law and the National Skills Registration Program (NSRP) by creating a specific unit within Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) that is focused on labor supply data and employment assistance.

It is envisioned to be the local counterpart of the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA) which can serve as the countrywide skills data bank and placement agency for domestic employment. I hope that this body could actively connect jobhunters with the available opportunities based on their skills and work experience.
